WHAT IS THE CONFERENCE KNOWN AS DIGITAL ?

THE BIGGEST REGIONAL CONFERENCE FOR TELECOMUNICATION AND MEDIA

The regional conference on trends in telecommunications and media – DIGITAL 2022 will be held this year on September 15 and 16, 2022 at the Metropol Hotel in Belgrade.

The conference, traditional and highly visited event since 2014, gathers market leaders, experts in telecommunications and all types of media, as well as all the leaders of the digital industries that drive the economy in Serbia, all in one place to discuss future trends and expectations.

We will have an opportunity to hear more about what the world of media, telecommunications and digital trends looked like and will look like, and what topics will mark the next period in these areas.

Through panel discussions, lectures and case studies, you will find out what happened in the past year in the world of information and communication technologies, what are the challenges of contactless payments, how digitalization has changed the music industry and how it contributes to the development of bands. We will talk about the boom in film and television production, the Serbian IT scene, how popular digital products are created, are we safe in the virtual world, what’s new on the social media scene in our region and many other topics.

The first conference was opened by Maja Gojković, President of the National Assembly of Serbia, the second by Ivan Tasovac, Minister of Culture and Media. Digital 2016 was opened by Dennis Keefe, UK Ambassador in Belgrade and Kyle Scott, Ambassador of the USA in Belgrade. Digital 2017 and 2018 were opened by Vladan Vukosavljević, Minister of Culture and Media and Branko Ružić, Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Alona Fischer-Kam, Ambassador of Israel in Belgrade, Narinder Chauhan, Ambassador of the Republic of India in Serbia, Kati Csaba, Ambassador of Canada to Serbia.

Last year’s conference was opened by Maja Gojković, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Media. Miloš Cvetanović, State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, H.E. Jahel Vilan, Ambassador of Israel to Serbia, H.E.
