Alon Mitelpunkt, Former international correspondent for Israel’ channel 10 News (now channel 13) and current media consultant at „Unik“ Communications Group

I am 30 years old and living in Tel Aviv, Israel. I have previously worked as an international correspondent for Israel Channel 10 (now 13) news, one of Israel’s two largest news companies, covering all world topics – diplomacy, entertainment, medicine, sports etc. I am currently working as a media consultant for Unik – a well-known communications firm, dealing with PR, crisis management, digital marketing etc. As part of my work, I consult organizations  that are part of the Israeli health sector, such as the EMMS Nazareth hospital and the Israel Center on Addiction. Both organizations have been greatly affected by the COVID-19 epidemic: The Nazareth hospital has been at the center of the COVID-19 battle in Israel’s Arab population and the Israel Center on Addiction has seen a large increase in addicts seeking help since the beginning of the crisis (the financial crisis and medical anxiety have caused a spike in addictions).
